Situated in the North West Highlands, you can find us on the part of the map where the land breathes magic and the sea starts to flow over the edge of the world. Surrounded by remote unspoiled white sand beaches, breathtakingly beautiful mountain scenery and magnificent coastal views. We are nestled in the tiny picture postcard hamlet of Drumbeg.

The tiny village of Drumbeg, is about half way along the B869 coastal route, part of the NC500, we are a perfect ‘stopping off’ point along this 23 mile single track road. Run by Mum & Son team Helen & Danny. A warm welcome waits at our wee Highland Candle Shop where we produce our own products. What appears from the roadside to be just a small shed, let your curiosity get the better of you and come down to discover a shop packed with a luxurious handmade range you cant buy anywhere else and a beautiful hidden Tea Garden where we serve irresistible cakes, clotted cream scones, sandwiches, and hot and cold drinks including homemade lemonade, and our 'famous' fully loaded hot chocolates! You will find plenty of ideas for presents for friends and family or for yourself.

Visitors from all over the world, in all modes of transport find their way to Drumbeg and our wee place. From the Lotus Drivers Club enjoying a break and some retail therapy with us whilst doing the NC500, to the Assynt Community Bus with locals for afternoon tea. Bikers, Cyclists and even some folk on foot!
It takes more than a rainy day to stop you enjoying a cuppa & cake with us. Our extremely sheltered garden is draped in a canopy of rain proof parasols + we have a covered patio area. We even provide blankets for your knees if it's chilly!'"

We produce a wide variety of scented candles in tins, candles in glass, luxurious organic body care, artisan soaps, handmade creams and gift sets. Our wee Highland shop offers a fantastic place to buy our beautifully designed products.

- Winter 'CLICK & COLLECT' This is a FREE service for locals and those visiting our area 'out of season'. Simply place your order via our online shop, we will then process your order and email you when your items are available for collection. We have three local pick-up points. You can come to us in Drumbeg or choose to collect in Lochinver or Clachtoll. Just make your selection when you checkout.
- PLEASE NOTE we require 3-5 days notice for click & collect orders.
When are you open? - Our Online shop is open year round. We open our Candle Shop & Secret Tea Garden to visitors seasonally from April - end Sept / mid Oc t6 days a week TUES - SUN (closed Mon). Candle Shop 10:00 - 5:00 & Secret Tea Garden 10:00 - 4:30 (take away available until 5pm).
Where do I park? - Roadside parking is just across the road from us, (follow our sign). For those with limited mobility we have room for a couple of cars directly outside our shop but please be aware there is no turning area so you will need to reverse in or out, there is also space here for motorbikes and cycles. More parking (suitable for motor homes) and the public loo's can be found at Drumbeg Viewpoint a 300m walk away.
Is the garden sheltered if its raining? - YES! Our garden is covered with a canopy of waterproof parasols over every table and we have a covered patio area, we even have blankets for your knees if it's chilly!
Do you accept credit / debit cards? - YES. You can pay with most major cards (min spend applies). We do not accept cheques.
We are a large group, can you cater for us? - We work on a first come, first served basis and do not reserve tables. However we do have enough space for 32 so we should be able to fit you in. In low season (April, Sept, Oct) we would appreciate prior notice of your visit. Contact Us.
Can my 4 legged friend come in the Tea Garden? - Very sorry but our business is also our home and also home to our feline companions who are not doggie friendly! We don't allow dogs (except guide) into the Shop or Tea Garden - however we do provide a water bowl, dog bed and somewhere for them to wait for you just outside the shop. There is also a table and chairs here if you prefer not to leave them.
I would love to buy some gifts but I will be cycling / flying and weight is an issue - Simply choose and pay for your gifts when you visit our shop, we charge just £3.95 towards P+P (UK) We will parcel them up and post them home for you.
How do I buy your products when your Candle Shop is closed for the winter? - Our online shop remains open year round offering worldwide delivery. We have a 'click & collect' service available Oct - March for 'out of season' visitors to our area.
Where else can I buy your products? - Our range is exclusive to us and available from our Drumbeg shop and our online shop only. We don't supply other shops or sell wholesale/trade.
What's the weather forecast? - We don't know! These things are very unpredictable in our part of the world. It can be wall to wall sunshine, it can be horizontal rain, it can be howling a gale, it can snow in May! it can be four seasons in a day. Take your pic ;)
